Leveraged Yield Farming

Open position

Bagels Finance allows users to create a leveraged income farm position in PancakeSwap and Mdex pools.

How to open a leveraged income farm position, please refer to the steps below：

1. Log in to https://app.bagels.finance/, connect to your wallet (MetaMask);

2. Go to the [Leverage] and select the pool;

3. Please select a trading pair, click [Farm3x] and deposit a single asset or combination that meets the required minimum in the farming trading pair; set the leverage ratio (up to 3x); select borrowed assets. Bagels' smart contract automatically convert the assets you deposit and the assets you borrow, ensuring that the bilateral assets of the trading pair are equal for liquidity farming;

4. After you click [Farm] the MetaMask wallet will display a notification for you to confirm the transaction;

5. After completing the transaction, you can view the position information in [Dashboard]-[Leverage].

Add Collateral

To increase the principal for your active position, refer to the following steps：

1. Log in to https://app.bagels.finance/, connect to your wallet (MetaMask);
2. Go to the [Dashboard]-[Leverage] page to view the list of positions；

3. Please select a position where you want to add collateral, and click [Add Collateral]；

4. Enter the amount of principal you want to add；

Any combination of two assets can be provided in a framing pair. Bagels smart contract optimally swap your deposited assets into a liquid framing pool.

5. When you enter the numbers, you can see the changes in your risk and leverage ratios in the indicators below;

6. After you click [Add Collateral] the MetaMask wallet will display a notification for you to confirm the transaction;

7. After completing the transaction, you can view the position information in [Dashboard]-[Leverage].

Close position

If you want to close your leveraged income farm position, please refer to the steps below：

1. Log in to https://app.bagels.finance/, connect to your wallet (MetaMask);
2. Go to the [Dashboard]-[Leveraged] page to view your active positions;

3. Please select the position you want to close and click [Close]；

4. After clicking the [Close] button, there are two redemption options to choose from：

Default Plan: Bagels repays the debt in the best way and gives you back the remaining balance, effectively saving you slippage and transaction fees.

Convert to [Base Token]: The value of your position is converted to one of two base tokens, which you will receive back after paying off your debt.

5. After you have selected the plan, you can see the estimated assets value you will receive;

6. After you select the plan, click [Confirm], and the MetaMask wallet will display a notification for you to confirm the transaction;

7. Upon completion of the transaction, you will receive tokens on your wallet.

Note: When you close a leveraged farming position, some of the assets are used to repay debt and pay borrowed interest , and the remaining assets are returned to your wallet.
