# Strategy 4: Lock BAGEL to get Boardroom dividend

Lock BAGEL into Boardroom to receive veBAGEL and earn the dividends every week. The longer BAGEL of the same value is staked to the Boardroom, the higher the voting weight and dividend yield. The number of veBAGEL held by Boardroom members decays with the length of time they are locked. The longer the lockup, the slower the decay. Read more details:
